πŸŽ„βœ¨ Join the Mental Elf 5k Festive Fun Run! βœ¨πŸŽ„

It’s that time of year again – dust off your elf hats and jingle bells because Mental Elf is back in South East and Central Essex!

On Sunday 7th December, we’ll be taking over Belfairs Park, Leigh-on-Sea for our annual 5k festive fun run. Whether you fancy a stroll, a jog, or a speedy dash, this event is open to all ages and abilities – the more elves, the merrier!

What makes Mental Elf special?

  • πŸŽ… Festive fun run for the whole family – dress up, get active, and soak up the Christmas spirit.

  • πŸƒ Do it your way – walk, jog, or run the 5k at your own pace.

  • πŸ’™ Support better mental health – every step helps raise awareness and vital funds for local mental health support.

  • 🌟 Be part of something bigger – join over 50 Mental Elf runs happening across the country this December.

Not only will you have a great time, but you’ll also be doing something amazing for your mind and body. Moving more can lift your mood, ease stress, and help you feel good – the perfect boost during the busy festive season.

Tickets 🎟️

Early bird tickets are available now until Midnight, 26th September – don’t miss out!

Get Involved 🀝

We’d love local businesses to join us as sponsors, and we’ll also need some cheerful volunteers to help bring the magic to life on the day.

So gather your family, friends, and fellow elves – and let’s make this year’s Mental Elf 5k the best one yet!

Finally, we want to say a big thank you to Lancashire Mind who created the original Mental Elf Fun Run concept. We are super excited to grow this event year on year in South East and Central Essex.

Please note: this Mental Elf Festive Fun Run is a fundraising event organised by SECE Mind. The Mental Elf β„’ blog is a separate initiative run independently, providing short, evidence-based summaries of new mental health research.
