Floating Mental Health Support

This service will deliver holistic mental health support using the Human Givens Model. In partnership with you our Floating Support staff will create a plan including goal setting and prevention strategies. Support will include practical living skills, appointments, benefit applications, referrals and signposting. Face to face support will be offered weekly (for 6-12 weeks) with ad hoc telephone support 9 to 5 Monday – Friday.

Reduce avoidable mental health admissions

Support individuals to remain in existing tenancies and reduce the risk of homelessness

Floating Mental Health Support is available to individuals aged 18+who are:

*We are looking to expand this service to Southend and Chelmsford from April 2025.

Living in Castle Point or Rochford*

Experiencing or at risk of experiencing poor mental health.

Recently discharged from hospital.

At risk of hospital admission.

At risk of losing their tenancy due to mental health needs.

On the waiting list for mental health services.

On the waiting list for mental health transitional supported housing.
