We’re here to fight for mental health.
For support. For respect. For you.
1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health issue at some point in our lives. We are here to help.
Our mission is to provide support and empower all those living with poor mental health in South East and Central Essex
Our charity serves the Chelmsford, Castle Point, Rochford, South Woodham Ferrers and Southend areas helping support local people with their mental health and wellbeing needs.
LET’S CELEBRATE!
South East Central Essex Mind is proudly celebrating 60 years of supporting mental health in our community.
For six decades, we’ve stood alongside thousands of people, offering understanding, hope and life-changing support.
To mark this incredible milestone, we’re hosting a year of special fundraising events and we’d love you to be part of it.
By getting involved, you’ll help us continue our mission to reduce stigma, prevent crisis and promote positive mental wellbeing for future generations.

IMPACT REPORT 2025
Our 2025 Impact Report highlights the difference we’ve made together across South East and Central Essex. Supporting our community to REDUCE stigma, PREVENT crisis and PROMOTE positive mental wellbeing for future generations. From early intervention and community outreach to crisis support and wellbeing programmes, this year’s report reflects the growing need for our services and the collective effort of our staff, volunteers, partners and supporters. It’s a testament to what’s possible when we come together and that no one should face a mental health problem alone.
