Research Volunteer
This year we have started conducting research with an aim to understand and champion the voices of those with lived experience; putting those who use our services at the heart of everything we do.
We currently have project researching:
Neurodiversity and mental health – how to use community based support to improve outcomes for neurodiverse adults.
LGBTQ+ & mental health
Mental health in rural and coastal communities
We are looking for research volunteers to work with our team and help support this vital work in the community.
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is interesting in gaining experience in applied social sciences. You may be studying a social sciences degree or undertaking your A- levels or just have a passion for community-based action and growth.
Potential activities could include:
Helping with facilitating workshop activities
Supporting with data entry and data analysis
Supporting with reporting research findings
Supporting with administrative duties
We ask for potential research volunteers to be able to commit to up to 4 hours a week for 6 months. You must also be aged 18+ and have GCSE Maths and English.
No previous research experience is needed, just a willingness to help support our cause!
