Luke Whitney joins SECE Mind Board of Trustees

South East and Central Essex Mind is pleased to announce the appointment a new trustee, Luke Whitney.

Luke joins SECE Mind with a wealth of experience in account management and health & safety compliance. His career spans roles at CBRE and BGIS within the Critical Environments - Data Centre Division. Luke is passionate about mental health advocacy and has a strong background in leadership, financial planning, and governance.

His early volunteer work in youth clubs, supporting young people and young adults facing stress and anxiety, provided him with insights into mental health issues. Luke has expertise in governance and risk management with previous experience of local and national Health and safety requirements.

When Luke is not advocating for SECE Mind, you can find him being active, as a new golfer or as a runner/jogger. He is also a fan of motorsport and an avid fan of the NFL.

‘I am honoured to be joining such an amazing charity as SECE Mind. As a resident of Southend, being part of such a local, community-led charity is inspiring. Joining SECE Mind at such a point with such positivity and opportunity is invigorating.
